Sherri Saum has landed a recurring role on the CW’s “Gossip Girl.”
She will play Holland Kemble, a powerful business executive-turned-Upper East Side trophy wife and could be trouble for Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and Rufus (Matthew Settle).
Saum, who recurred on HBO’s “In Treatment” last season and previously co-starred on FX’s “Rescue Me,” is repped by Abrams Artists and Benderspin
Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick may not be Gossip Girl fans’ favorite real-life couple, but that’s probably due to V’s sucking (real or perceived).
In the real world, these two are smitten with each other and going strong.
Here they are at the Todd DiCiurcio: Heartstrings event Saturday in L.A.:

Lady Gaga on Gossip Girl: It’s gonna happen! Here she is with co-stars Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester.
Details regarding Lady GaGa’s cameo on “Gossip Girl” have been unraveled as The CW released its schedule for November sweeps. The singer famous for her single “Just Dance” will perform in an episode called “The Last Days of Disco Stick” which airs November 16.

Hoping to impress the elitist theater kids at NYU, Blair calls in a favor to land a private concert with the hottest musical performer of the year, Lady GaGa. It is still unclear what song(s) she will deliver on the episode.
Speaking of what she knows about GaGa’s cameo, Leighton Meester said “It was really cool. It was very avant garde and kind of gothic, and she’s pretty cool, so it was very fun.” She went for further details, saying “She just makes a cameo performance, and we talk about her for awhile. But, yeah, we all have a storyline where we put on a cabaret with her songs. You’ll have to wait and see.”
Also revealed in the November schedule is the incorporation of Meester’s new single “Somebody to Love” into the show. The November 9 episode called “They Shoot Humphreys, Don’t They?” will utilize the Robin Thicke-featuring song. Additionally, rock band Plasticines will make guest performance in the same episode.
Beside Lady GaGa and Plasticines, “Gossip Girl” also welcomes Jimmy Fallon as a guest star. The talk show host will play himself in November 2 episode called “The Grandfather: Part II”, interviewing Olivia who says something she regrets.
A Spice Girl on Gossip Girl? Sounds good to me.
Posh Spice and David Beckham’s wife Victoria Adams is set to visit the Upper East Side this season for a guest spot on an episode of Gossip Girl, an idea, sources said, that came to be because of mutual respect and love between the two camps. Posh is reportedly a big fan of the show, while stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester are fans of the former Spice Girl’s designs.
“Blake and co-star Leighton Meester are fans of Victoria’s designs, and have both worn her dresses,” a source told U.K.’s Mirror. “Blake attended the unveiling of Victoria’s new collection in New York last month, alongside the series’ stylist Eric Damen. The trio started chatting and Victoria revealed she was a huge fan of the show. From here, Blake pleaded with her to guest star in an episode and ran the idea past producers.”
Of course, Beckham is no stranger to television, although much of her filmography has her portraying herself, including a Posh-centric episode of Ugly Betty late 2007. She’s also set to appear on American Idol as guest-judge.
The wife of the most famous soccer player in the world is set to fly to New York late October to film the guest spot within the day. Her role is still unknown thus far, although if she had it her way, she would like to play an ex-love interest of Chuck.
“She isn’t an actress and wanted her role to be very tongue-in-cheek,” the same source. “And an idea for her to play Brit actor Ed Westwick’s long-lost mother was quickly vetoed. Victoria joked that she’d rather play his ex-love interest!”
Here’s hoping she’ll do a better job than Tyra Banks, although that’s not really saying much is it.
Not stopping at Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks, “Gossip Girl” is moving forward with signing one more major guest star. The latest report from New York Daily News suggested that Lady GaGa is the next star to pop up on the show and that she has filmed her part on Tuesday, October 6 in the lower East Side.

The CW drama has previously nabbed a guest appearance from another music act No Doubt who went by the name Snowed Out in a crowded gig scene. GaGa, similarly will be a performer on the show, but NY Daily News noted that she would “perform as herself”. There is no clue yet when the episode with GaGa on will be airing.
In the meantime, The CW is releasing two clips from the next episode called “Rufus Getting Married”. The first one is Chuck giving Blair a massage while discussing about her concern over Nate dating Bree. The second one is where Vanessa is being directed by Georgina to talk to Dan about Olivia and her status as a movie star. The episode will air Monday, October 12.
Jenny’s life is about to get a lot more complicated.
Kevin Zegers has joined the cast of “Gossip Girl” for a multi-episode arc.
He will play Damien, an international bad-boy love interest to Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen).
Zegers, who starred opposite Felicity Huffman in “TransAmerica,” was recently seen in “50 Dead Men Walking” and “The Narrows.”
He will soon begin production on “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.”
Zegers is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.
Rufus and Lily move up their wedding date; Chuck uncovers a secret that Carter was hiding from Serena; Georgina pulls Vanessa and Dan into one of her schemes; Blair grows suspicious of Bree.
Jack Bass, the devious uncle of Gossip Girl‘s Chuck (Ed Westwick), is set to return to the show later this season, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
“I will be back this year,” says Desmond Harrington, who plays the character. “I think it’s episode 15 or 16 where I show back up. It’s fun playing Uncle Jack.”
When we last saw Jack, he tried to attack Lily van der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford), who had taken over Bass Industries for Chuck. Jack was then sent packing back to Australia with a sore jaw after being punched by Chuck.
Harrington, who currently plays Det. Quinn on Dexter, says the producers asked him to come back, but he doesn’t yet know the plot details surrounding Jack’s return to New York. However, the actor says he hopes to continue making Chuck’s life a living hell. “I think, if anything, I am there to screw that kid’s life up basically,” Harrington says. “I think he might be, out of all the most evil characters the show has ever had on it, the most evil character. He’s evil.”

Simon Miller has been signed to guest star in two upcoming episodes of the hit series “Gossip Girl” (Mondays, 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW). In the ‘How to Succeed in Bassness’ and ‘The Grandfather: Part II’ episodes, Miller portrays an actor – famous for playing vampires – who is caught in a triangle between his ex-girlfriend and former co-star, Olivia (recurring guest star Hilary Duff), and Dan Humphrey (series star Penn Badgley).
The 25-year old actor has appeared in a number of independently produced films, including “Elah & the Moon,” “Between Love & Goodbye,” “Pickman’s Model,” “Truth Project” and “History of Sexuality.”
He is also a successful fashion photographer whose work appears in Vogue, GQ, The New York Times Magazine, etc. Miller is represented by Ryan Daly of Innovative Artists, and his manager, Cathy Kanner of Kanner Entertainment.
