Ivanka Trump, the offspring of business mogul Donald Trump, is branching out to TV series by scoring a role on “Gossip Girl“. The 28-year-old beauty has appeared on her father’s “The Apprentice” series as his adviser but this is the first time she’ll be acting on television.

Ivanka is not solo in her cameo as she is accompanied by husband Jared Kushner who is also new to the acting scene. Both have filmed their part on Monday, August 30 afternoon in New York’s Meat Packing District, joining the likes of Taylor Momsen, Blake Lively and Kelly Rutherford.

“Jared & I had a ball on the set of #GossipGirl this AM. We appeared in a scene together! Tune in this Oct 25 & check out our ‘acting’ debut!” Ivanka tweeted that day. No clue yet what kind of role they play in the series but rumor has it they only get a very short screen time. Meanwhile, pictures of the couple filming can be seen at DailyMail.co.uk.

Finally, the van der Woodsen apartment is buzzing with activity as the “Fashion’s Night Out” event is planned. Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. Mark Piznarski directed the episode written by executive producers Joshua Safran and Stephanie Savage (#401).

Ben a new character on season 4 of Gossip Girl will be played by Davd Call! Not much known about the Ben character yet … but apparently he knows other newcomer Juliet pretty well .

Ahead of its season 4 premiere next month, “Gossip Girl” teases viewers with a promo clip. It follows duo Blake Lively’s Serena and Leighton Meester’s Blair as they are across the pond, in Paris to be exact. Serena is snubbed by Penn Badgley’s Dan when calling him, while Blair avoids to meet Ed Westwick’s Chuck.

“Gossip Girl” will return on September 13 with an episode titled “Belles de Jour”. A radiant Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf enjoy their grand and romantic summer in Paris. However, Serena and Blair will be in for a few big OMG surprises when a friend from home mysteriously appears on the scene.

Previously, creator Josh Schwartz was forced to dismiss reports Blake Lively has asked to be written out of the hit TV show so she can pursue a film career. He writes on Twitter, “Have to respond. No truth to rumors that BL (Blake Lively) requested to have Serena killed. All is well.”
